Made from cows milk, pecorino in SA is generally a young pliable cheese. Good for pesto, in salads and pasta. We do carry an aged pecorino from Hijke Dairy. There are also available, pecorinos from Swissland Dairy, goat milk, Beaconsfield and Ovis Angelicus from sheep milk, all lovely complex cheeses


Pecorino cheese is perfect to use in this recipe for Spaghetti with garlic and Swiss chard
